Due to the fact that the Legacy Era game I was running in RL came to an abrupt halt. I figured I’d try to pick it up here in the RP forums since I already had a lot invested in it (NPC and storyline-wise) and the storyline was quite unique. Those of you not familiar with the S.W. Legacy Era do yourself a favor and read up on it here: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_LegacyThe events in my campaign will take place around 137 ABY. In this game, we will do what we want and try not to adhere too much to the current direction of the comic storyline, thus in a sense making this a type of “Infinities” game. What I want: - A variety of 1st level characters who can work well together. If I have a lot of applicants I might also open up the game to a variety of Dark Siders too, however they are expected to follow the Rule of One. Rules: - Max starting credits. Buy anything you want (within reason), although you will be required to make payments on anything over your starting credits once a month (with a 25% credit increase) to the lender. - You can use anything from any book as long as I ok it, and I don’t see it as “game breaking.” - This will be a 35 point build game. - Please describe to me what type of character you want to play and how you plan on “building” him (I just want a general idea/description) through the first 10 levels.

I'm interested in joining up. The two roles that I had in mind were either to be something of a combat tech, eventually taking levels in Military Engineer and possibly Saboteur or as a fencing-style, charismatic Jedi, dipping into Noble to pick up Noble Fencing Style then, in terms of PrC, mixing with Jedi Knight and maybe one or two levels of Melee Duelist.
I'd prefer the Jedi role, but if we have need for a techie, then I could go with that role as well.

I sent you a PM with two character concepts I was hoping to try, a Chiss mechanic/techie-type, and a Zeltron noble. Been a big fan of the Legacy-era since I got started on the comic books, so I'm looking forward to seeing where this game goes. :-)

Again as the post states… this is going to be an “infinities game.” I don’t like the way Darth Krayt was killed! I feel it was way too early in the comic series and way too anti-climactic!

Despite a fondness for Darth Wyyrlock above and beyond the rest of the One Sith, I'm with you, Darth Krayt deserved a longer reign. :-)

I prefer the Bothan but can fill what ever aspect is needed in party or otherwise!

I'm certainly interested if you still have room. Any idea of what type of campaign you are looking to do? Is it going to be a lot of combat or non-combat, space combat or character combat, Force User or Non-Force User focused, etc. Thanks for wanting to run a game.
Also, would you like a detailed background with a few allies and a few enemies so that you can take plot off of that?

Hmmm... If a Jedi wouldn 't fit into the party, would an Imperial Knight? Are we going to be fringers, former/current G.A. troopers? I'd be willing to give the Imperial Knight a try, seems pretty nifty. As GM, would you allow a person who was being raised by the Jensaarai become an Imp. Knight if they did the whole "I dedicate myself to the Emperor" deal?
DarthPrefect, are you going to be going for the techie or the noble?

DarthPrefect, are you going to be going for the techie or the noble? Ended up going for the Techie, though until third level, he'll only be awesome at Mechanics, due to starting out as a Scout.

I'm certainly interested if you still have room. Any idea of what type of campaign you are looking to do? Anything and everything is fair game for me! I can work several angles into this game and not everyone needs to be on the “same team,” however everyone will still be vital to the storyline. I love combat, so you will see a fair amount of it in my game, especially because of the storyline I want to go with. Both, however it mainly depends on the Player Character actions. However there will be a lot of Force User plot hooks, it mainly depends on the Player Character actions. NP! Anything works! I am good with storyline and can fit whatever needs to be fit into a game!

Hmmm... If a Jedi wouldn 't fit into the party, would an Imperial Knight? Both are acceptable. We already have another player who is going to be playing an Imperial Knight. Another one would be fine, however a Jedi too is more than welcome. I’m looking to put together a motley crew! So anything is welcomed. Yes. That’s fine! However, FYI… I will be having a Jensaarai “Defender” NPC encounter the party too!

Yes. That’s fine! However, FYI… I will be having a Jensaarai “Defender” NPC encounter the party too! Hmmm... interesting, I was just designing one of those... (Though subsuquently, I've decided against it) Anyway... once you create teams, can we create some interconnected backgrounds? I find that characters in game that care about each other make for a better game. I think I've got a Jedi idea for a team support role... Do we have a medic? Do we need a medic?
