Born not long before the battle of Naboo, Jam was able to witness the rise of the Naboo and the ascension of his people into a seat of equal power with the Humans that have, otherwise, controlled. Because of this, Jam grew up with a deep pride in his native race and grew to idolize the heroes that lived before him. Wanting to live up to their legacy, Jam pushed to join the fight against the Separatists, although he was far too young while the Clone Wars were going on to actually fight. With the Clone Wars over, Jam had to find a new way to satisfy his thirst for adventure.

During a good part of the Galactic Civil War, Jam was a bodyguard for the Naboo royalty and acted as something of an ambassador for his people. Reputed for his skill with an atlatl and his keen wit, Jam quickly gained local renown as a cunning and dedicated warrior. Upon the end of the Galactic Civil War, Jam managed to meet Darrius Vahn Draay, a famous holovid actor. Since their meeting, Jam has served as a faithful bodyguard to Darrius and has had to break him out of many interesting situations.
