Well due to lack of games starting that I'm interested in on the forums I am on I've decided to try my hand at running an online game. I know that not everyone is going to have the same games that I do which is why I'm not entirely sure what to run...I'll let you guys help me decide.
I'm mainly looking to run a game that I know forwards and backwards...which unfortunately counts out games like Star Wars Saga Edition(due to lack of knowledge of how starship battles work). Also this disallows a few other games like any White Wolf game aside from Scion.
Without further ado here's the games I'm considering running in the order of my preference...with the ruleset(publishing company) and a brief description of what the game would be.
1) Lord of the Rings(CODA rules by Decipher)
-----Was thinking of going with a Third Age game, which would hopefully end sometime in the Fourth Age. Possibly tying the players into the Fellowship in someway.
2) DC Universe(D6 by West End Games)
-----Bringing back my old table top groups campaign where you would be a team of heroes backed by a wealthy benefactor filling in for the dead(missing) Superman in the Metropolis area with probable world wide missions.
3) D&D 4th Edition(obvious option)
-----Forgotten Realms campaign starting in the Amn area unless the players make characters that would fit in a different area better.
4) Any of the following
-----Stargate RPG(D20 can't recall publisher), D&D 3rd or 3.5, Marvel(Marvel's), Hercules & Xena(D6 by West End Games), Star Trek(CODA by Decipher), Scion(White Wolf), Earthdawn(Fasa), Conan(D20 by Mongoose) and Star Wars(Revised Edition by WotC...would be D6 but I haven't found my WEG books yet)
Once everyone has given me an opinion I'll work on the house-rules if any I want to work and let you guys know the character creation options/rules.
