O.K. Everyone needs to post their player character as a post in the "Players" sub-folder for the Star Wars: Legacy game!

When are we going to be starting? I plan on getting you two Imperial Knights started within a day or so (possibly tonight). I already have a crawl written and an adventure intro in my head. I'm mainly waiting on everyone to post a character up so we can begin everyone at the same time. I still have several players who have yet to post thier character sheet.

I'm really excited to get started! FYI, I'm (at present) putting some final tweaks on Malius, swapping some equipment (picked up an aquata breather, swapped electrobinoculars for a training remote) and I switched his wisdom and charisma stats with each other (so he gets an extra power). I should have a link to an updated character sheet up in a few minutes.

darthprefect... I'm still waiting on the others to start your game. If they don't post character sheets soon... I'll just start you off (possibly this weekend) and have your creww pick them up somewhere.

I'm sorry as well for not getting something up, it's just being a busy time for me. At least Cernnunos has approved the concept. I look forward to being done ASAP and joining up with you all.

Weekend has been a bit crazy. Tough to have lots of time with a little baby and it takes me a lot of time to finish off creating a character. I've been able to do spurts here and there, but with lack of sleep and needing to give my wife and other daughter attention. I'm kinda spent. During the week things should be better. But tomorrow I have to take my daughter to the doctors and my mother-in-law to her physical therapy appointment. I hate living in the boonies, far away from everything. Anyway, I hate to be a drag on the game, but I really look forward to playing. I'm sorry for holding things up.
But in the meantime, Cernnunos, is there someone I should be contacting to help merge backgrounds with?

I'm putting together a Motley crew... so I'm just going to give you guys a common goal, and it should be enough to bond you!

I understand, Cernunnos, your issue with Skill Focus and Use the Force. It is quite successful versus defenses. The thing is, it works properly versus DCs. So I propose the following instead.
My rule change is this:
Skill Check (as normal, when rolling vs a DC or Opposed Check): Skill Check: d20 + 1/2*level + ability modifier + 5(training) + 5(focus)
Skilled Attack (vs. defenses [Ref, Will, Fort] or anything else): Untrained: d20 + 1/2*level + Abil mod Trained: d20 + 3/4*level + Abil mod Focused: d20 + level + Abil mod
Note: Level is your Heroic Level
Special: For something like a Force Power, where both a Skill Check and Skilled Attack are needed, only roll one d20 and use its result for the basis of both the Skill Check and Skilled Attack. Also, in this case, a Force Point used is added to the d20 roll (and therefore added to both the Skill Check and Skilled Attack).
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you modify things like the effectiveness of Skill Focus, you also must modify things that were designed to help defend against that discrepancy. For example, with my suggested system, the Unstoppable Force feat (Clone Wars Campaign Guide) is way overpowered as a first level feat (it could be modified to give +1 to the defenses per 4 levels [min +1]). Also some races, like the Hutt and Toydarian will also be higher powered.
Just something to think about.
