Rules:
- Max starting credits. Buy anything you want (within reason), although you will be required to make payments on anything over your starting credits once a month (with a 25% credit increase) to the lender.
- You can use anything from any book as long as I ok it, and I don’t see it as “game breaking.”
- This will be a 35 point build game.
- Please describe to me what type of character you want to play and how you plan on “building” him (I just want a general idea/description) through the first 10 levels.
- Please… play nicely with one another.
I want to try and clarify several things before we get this game started in order to stop arguments and or answer questions before they happen in game.
I am a huge proponent of R.A.W. (Rules as Written) and R.A.I. (Rules as Intended) with the following clarifications/exceptions:
- Mind Trick: The text for this entry says “You must be able to communicate with the target, and the suggestion can’t obviously threaten the target’s life.” The key word here in question is always going to be the word ‘obviously.’ If you choose to use Mind Trick in combat, be mindful of this word (obviously), because I as GM might interpret it a little different then you do, and you might get a little upset with how I chose to handle a situation.
- Move Object: Yes… you can lift something up to the size category you role, however it will be at the GMs discretion how I choose to portray the action in game. Someone with a UTF check at 37 can lift a YT transport up according to the rules, however if targeting someone I will more than likely say that a portion of the craft ripped off and flies toward the second target, not the YT transport itself. This should help with area effects and move object especially when other characters are around the character being attacked. Also, you can choose to lift something smaller than the size category you rolled up to, and it will still deal the amount of damage listed under the size category you rolled. Thus meaning… a pebble propelled at an opponent forcefully can do the same amount of damage as a speeder bike.
- Rebuke: If you are the first or second target of the move object Force power or any other Force power that can potentially harm you directly threw dice (using the fold space Force power to move a YT transport 5 meters above someone’s head) then you can use the Force power rebuke.
- Battle Strike: Yes... you can store Battle Strike for your next encounter.
- Hunter’s Mark + Debilitating Shot: Yes… the talents Hunter’s Mark (Bounty Hunter Tree) and Debilitating Shot (Gunslinger Talent Tree) do stack.
- Double-Bladed Lightsabers: Are two separate lightsabers (and for all game aspects will be treated as such) constructed into one weapon. Therefore if you choose to attack with both ends of the lightsaber in the same round you do not gain the x2 Strength bonus to damage. However if you only choose to attack with one side, you do.
