Oh, I totally expect the same. But logically, my character wouldn't want to own a gun at this stage. He's probably got a swiss army knife

TWF, dont change anything. Sorry about the wangst, I was in a bad mood to begin with.
I got some ideas from DK23, but I'll only use some of them.

Well, my guys got a weapon or two, but he's not really the combat type. He's more the, "Hey, that's a Sand Golem. Pour water on him." type.

Very true. And I ain't complaining, I love being the support guy. For some reason, being a tank bores me. Well, usually anyway. Not always.

Guess I'll be the tank here, especially with my boons and personality :] One word- Chaos. Two more- Hornets Nest.

I'm happy to tank, too. I usually prefer to be in the Support category, though. For some reason its just fun.
And Chaos is awesome. The third boon, Paralyzing Confusion is incredibly powerful.

My biggest problem with every RPG is that I like to play a bit of everything. Very rarely do I pick up a new game and go "thats the thing for me!" anymore.

I'm always like that with fighting video games. I pick one character and play them until I'm competent, then move on to the next. Only when I feel I really jive with a character do I bother to master them (and I usually go after the under-appreciated or just plain stylish characters, and never the popular/powerful ones).
Dying to see what DK and Playah came up with, now. Suspense is KILLING ME.
DK, what are we doing about raising Legend, again? I'm actually surprised that the writers decided that its something you can buy with XP.

I'm saying that half of the experience you earn should go towards improving it (that way, nobody can vastly outpace anyone.) I'm trying to keep everyone within 2 Legend, so nobody becomes a spectator while those with higher legend are in action. I might also encourage some somewhat lenient requirements before hitting Legend 5 and 9 (Demigod and God levels) as well, but am not sure if I'm going to do it for sure yet.

Okay, I’ll be posting something Monday to begin the first story, “The Long Road to Heaven.”
Here’s an opportunity to earn 4 experience. This story is set in Las Vegas. Each of you is approached by an agent of your divine parent (if not your God/dess’ avatar) with an assignment. You are told your patron has a special liaison in the World, and you have been summoned to be part of their security detail during that meeting. The meeting is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, where a little outside and perhaps otherworldly weirdness is acceptable, and anything the Scions of the meeting gods might run across can be dealt with in a manner that results in little more than sidelong glances or a few incredulous questions.
Write up a brief story of receiving your assignment and you can claim 4 experience.
